John K. Findley

John K. Findley passed away at the age of 79 on July 11th at The Villages Reginal Hospital.

He was born in Lodi, Ohio, and graduated from The Milton Hershey School in 1959, Elizabethtown College with a  Bachelor degree in Education, and Shippensburg University with a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. He had many life experiences which include the following: Teacher, counselor, pilot, real estate sales , owning a business, licensing specialist for the PA Dept of Education, and Milton Hershey School staff member and Alumni Board member)   John enjoyed golf, travel, and being a private pilot , only to be surpassed by being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of 54 years, son, John, and his wife Caroline of Philadelphia, son, Jason, of The Villages, brothers, Loyal and Dennis of Flint, MI, sister, Jeannette Findley of Rutland, OH, sister, Karla  Sferro, of West Liberty, OH, sister, Debbie Choken of Punta Gorde, FL, five grandchildren – Josiah, Harrison, Grace, Phoebe, Tyler and wife, Janae, and many loved nieces, nephews, and family members. He was preceded in death by parents Lenore and Quinter Findley, and brothers, Doyle, Daryl, and Lowell Findley.
