John Chappell

John Ralph Chappell, age 64, passed peacefully on July 5, 2021 in his home in DeLand, FL.

He is survived by his sons Aaron, Spensir, and Schyler, daughter Tiffany, twin brother Jimi, sister Karen and grandchildren AJ, Collin, Logan, Chase and Madeline.

John is preceded in death by his mother and father, Zenia and Ralph, brother Dave, sister Naomi, and beloved dogs Gizmo and Hershey.

John was a gentle spirit known for his sense of humor and giving heart.

He is a proud alumnus of the class of 1975 at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA.

He served his community by assuming leadership positions with the Kirtland Youth Baseball League, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, and Kirtland School’s PTA.

He was a faithful husband, loving father, and a devoted man of God who showed his love for his fellow man in his depth of service.  He will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Lake County Humane Society or the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association.
