John A. Spence

John A. Spence, age 71 of York, passed away at home, with his family by his side, on November 15, 2020. He was the loving husband of Regina M. (Krug) Spence; together they shared over 43 years of marriage.

John was born in York on January 3, 1949 and was the son of the late James L. Spence and Gladys (Hahn) Spence. He worked as a supervisor for Graham Packaging for many years prior to retiring. He enjoyed breeding and showing rabbits. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife Regina, he is survived by his sons James Spence and Michael Spence; his daughter Tracy Strickhouser; his grandchildren Tori, Tyler, Kayla, Reed and June and his great grandchildren Emma, Rosemary and Juniper. He is also survived by his brothers Dan Spence and Ed Cook and his siter Brenda Bahn. He was predeceased by his sons John and Robert, his brother Keith and his sister Cathy.
