Jessie J. Balliet ’68, 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at home. He was the fiancé of Nancy Hill.

Jessie J. Balliet age 71, died unexpectedly on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at his home. There will be no prior calling hours or services. It is requested that memorial donations be made to the family c/o Christopher Balliet 204 Washington Street Susquehanna, PA 18847.

Jessie was born on October 30, 1949 in Shickshinny, PA, the son of the late Howard and Florence DeFrain Balliet Sr. He was a truck driver for many years for Bekins moving company. He retired from Walmart in Newark. Jessie was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest love was his family and grandchildren.

Jessie is survived by his son Christopher (Chelsea) Balliet of PA, Daughter Shavon (Brad) Beltz of Ohio, Fiancee’ of 24 years Nancy Hill of Phelps. 2 amazing step-daughters Heather Beeman and Tammy (Bob) Battle 10 grandchildren Sisters and brothers Sandy, Alvin, Frank, Elwood, Oscar, Rose and Dora.

He was predeceased by sisters and brothers Bobbie, Allen, Barb, Howard Jr., Amanda “Dolly” and Thorton.
