James F. Shaw

James F. Shaw ’49, 91, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was the husband of Dian Shaw.

On Monday, April 24, 2023, James F Shaw, loving husband and father passed away at age 91. James is survived by his wife of 66 years Dian Shaw and his son, James H Shaw, wife, Darlene Shaw. James was preceded in death by his son, Robert Jon Shaw. Jim attended Milton Hershey school in PA and enlisted in the US Air Force and became an aircraft mechanic and then served in the Korean War, 1951-1952. He served in the PA Air National Guard and also as a reservist. Jim had over 34 years of military service and was a Proud Patriot. He was a member of the Marion County Honor Guard and attended the First Baptist Church of Ocala. Jim enjoyed boating, fishing, and golfing. He traveled the U.S. with his wife. His humor and kindness will be missed.

Funeral Service will be held at Robert’s Funeral Home 2739 SE Maricamp Rd. Ocala Fl on Tuesday May 2, 2023 at 10:00 -11:00 and Funeral service following at 11:00.
