Howard “Red” P. Trimble

Howard “Red” P. Trimble ’52, 90, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was the husband of Janice Trimble.

Howard P. “Red” Trimble, 90, of Hershey passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023.

Born October 30, 1933 in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Oscar H. and Katie Rose (Gruble) Trimble. He was preceded in death by his son Michael E. Trimble, granddaughter Katie Pagano and was the last of his immediate family being preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

A former carpenter for Ritter Brothers, Red retired from Hershey Foods Corporation, was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren and Dela-Ches Fishing Association.

Surviving are his wife of 70 years Janice M. (McCorkle) Trimble; daughters Beverly A. Heister (Gerald) and Rebecca J. Pagano (Michael); eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 29, 2023 at his church, 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey preceded by a viewing beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Spring Creek Cemetery, Hershey.
