H. Louis Stopper

H. Louis Stopper ’50, 89, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. He was the husband of the late C. Judith Stopper.

H. Louis Stopper of Glen Mills, PA passed away on September 28, 2022. Lou was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 12th, 1933. He was predeceased by his wife C Judith Stopper and sisters Emily, Elleanor, and Wilma. Survived by his children Jennifer and Scott, niece Karen Sheehan and 3 grandchildren (Cody, Alex, and Tori).

Lou graduated from West Chester University with a B.S.  in Education as well as a Master’s from Villanova. He worked at Chichester Middle School as Guidance Counselor and Athletic Director as well as Manager of Drexel Swim Club.

Lou will be laid to rest with his wife at St Peter and Paul Cemetery in Marple Township at a private service.
