George M. Hoefle

George M. Hoefler ’57, 83, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Concord Hospital in Laconia. 

Born on March 16, 1939 in Burlington, North Carolina, George was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Hoefle.

George grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated High School in 1956. Following graduation, he went on to serve honorably in the United States Army. After his service, George worked as a production mechanic at GE, Lynn. He later worked and lived in the Dover area for many years.

In his free time, George enjoyed reading, fishing, watching the older western movies and listening to music.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sheila Fredericks, and spouse, Glen, and James Heofle, and spouse, Monica; brother, Jack Hoefle; sister, Emma French; grandchildren, Amy Fredericks, Joshua Hoefle, and Phellippe Monteiro, and great-grandchildren, Jacob Hoefle, Augusto Monteiro, Piper Monteiro, Stella Monteiro and Nika Monteiro.

Visitation for George will be from 10 AM – 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave, Dover, NH, with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Military honors will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen following the service.
