Fred Bowser

Fred Bowser was born in Clearfield County, PA on November 22, 1937 and entered into eternal rest on August 28, 2021. He was the son of Warren W. Bowser and Alice M.(Bouch)Bowser of Franz Hollow, Clearfield, PA.

Fred is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara A. (Eby) Bowser, His Children, Melanie M. (Bowser) Myers, Kelly A. (Bowser) Anoka, Michael F. Bowser and Jeffrey Chubb husband of deceased daughter Linda S. (Bowser) Chubb. Fred has 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Fred was a graduate of Milton Hershey School class of 1956. He attended Hershey Junior College where he attained an Associate’s degree in 1958 and continued to Lafayette College for a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 1960. Fred was hired by the Commonwealth of PA. in PennDOT and aspired to the position of Director of the Bureau of Design where he retired.
