Frank J. Schmauk

Frank J. Schmauk ’51, 84, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his home. He was the husband of Donna Schmauk.

New Hope, Pa.: Frank Julius Schmauk, Jr, died Sunday April 15 at his home following a short illness. Born in Philadelphia, Frank attended and graduated from Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pa. Following his education there he graduated from Temple University and later received his doctorate in psychology. For many years he was employed by the Commonwealth of Pa. in the juvenile court systems as a psychologist. His most recent employer was the Edison Court Inc. in Doylestown, Pa. Frank served in the United States Army, was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, playing tennis and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan. Son of the late Frank J. Schmauk, Sr. and Margaret Sheetz Schmauk, he is survived by his wife of 20 years Donna Wargo Schmauk, three daughters, Meghan Merlino, Karen and Stephanie Schmauk, one son Alex Schmauk, one nephew Jonathan Hernandez and one sister Jean Morris. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bridge St. Lambertville. Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
