Donald W. Stott

Donald W. Stott ’58, 82, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Judith Stott.

Donald W. Stott, 82, of Topton, formerly of Reading, sadly passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, with his loving daughter by his side. Born in Reading, Donald was the son of the late, Harry E. Stott, and Vivian A. (Runyon).

Donald was a graduate of the Milton Hershey School, class of 1958, and went on to serve in the United States Army Reserves. He was a bus driver for over 33 years for BARTA, before his retirement. Donald loved his Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and spending time with his family. Most of all, he loved attending and cheering on all his grandchildren during their sporting events.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Deana M. Pietrowski, wife of Matthew M., and son in law, Jack L. Gallo, who is the widower of Donald’s oldest daughter, Denise M. Gallo. In addition, his grandchildren; Jared, husband of Allyson, Jordan, husband of Nicole, Ryan, husband of Shannon, Lauren, Logan, Jacob, James, and Justin. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tyler, Jared Jr., Jordan Jr., and Colby. Donald is also predeceased by his one true love, Judith A. Stott, along with his siblings, Elaine Stott, Shirley Boltz, Joyce Ruffner, Grace Readinger, David Stott and infant grandson, Jason L. Gallo.

Funeral services for Donald will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Donald’s memory to The Alzheimer’s Association.
