Donald R. Felty

Donald R. Felty ’62, of Lititz, Pennsylvania, passed away on Nov. 15, 2022.

Donald “Don” Felty, 78, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Born in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late Guy and Mildred Felty. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sara (Montoya) Felty, with whom he would’ve celebrated 55 years of marriage on November 18th.

Don was a graduate of Milton Hershey School and obtained his Associate’s degree in Engineering. Following his education, Don enlisted in the US Army and served from 1965-1968 during Vietnam. He was also stationed in Africa as a surveyor. He was always very hardworking, working as a steelworker, granite worker, and highway maintenance. Don loved the outdoors, and could often be found hiking, biking, and canoeing. He loved talking to and meeting new people, always showing his outgoing personality. Don enjoyed reading, writing, math, and sports. Most of all, he loved spending quality time with his wife and daughter, Jean.

A memorial service to reflect on the life of Don will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 10 AM at Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad St, Lititz.
