Donald C.B. Smith

Pastor Don Smith, 84, of Martinsburg, WV, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility. Born October 6, 1934 in Ft. Meade, MD, he was the son of the late Donald Smith and Miriam Wiles Smith.

He served as pastor of Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church for 35 years, his only pastorate. Since retiring in 2002, he has been the Pastor Emeritus of SBBC and Field Administrator for Baptist Missions to Forgotten Peoples.

He also had served his country with the US Army and then the Air Force Reserves.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Koontz Smith; one daughter, Jodi Irvin; and two grandchildren, Casey and Kyle Irvin.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Corle.
