Milton Hershey School Announces New Director of Alumni Relations

After a comprehensive process and interviewing many top-tier candidates, we are pleased to share that Trachanda (Brown) García ’02 will assume the Milton Hershey School Director of Alumni Relations role starting Monday, Dec. 30.

Trachanda has nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, honing her subject-matter expertise in fundraising and development work, alumni relations, parent relations, and global education programs and logistics. Trachanda has developed strategy, led teams, hosted large-scale events, and built innovative programs during her time at Lock Haven University, Chestnut Hill College, Haverford College, and, most recently, West Chester University.

Equally as important, Trachanda has demonstrated a knack for connecting with and inspiring the people around her—both coworkers and key stakeholders. For these reasons and more, we know she will succeed at MHS as Director of Alumni Relations.

We are excited to support Trachanda as she establishes a new vision, expands the incredible foundation set by her predecessors, supports the vital work of our Milton Hershey School Alumni Association, and grows the MHS family’s meaningful connections with each other.
