David D. Hugendubler

David D. Hugendubler ’63, 78, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at his home. He was the husband of the late Roseann Civera. 

David Dale Hugendubler Sr., 78, of Hatfield, PA formerly of Chalfont, PA passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at his residence.

David was the loving husband of the late Roseann (Notaris) Civera for over 33 years. He was born in Abington, PA to the late Thomas Garcia Hugendubler and the late Elizabeth (Rosenberger) Hugendubler.

David graduated from Milton Hershey School, class of 1963. He was employed as an Animal Care Specialist for Merck, Inc., West Point throughout his working career before retiring in the early 2000’s.

Throughout his lifetime, David enjoyed travel and wood-working and, at one point, had two muscle cars. While he was not known to sit still often, when he did, he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones and watching movies and television shows about cowboys.

David will be remembered as a determined, hard working, caring and compassionate individual. He was also known to be extremely punctual and detail oriented. He will be greatly missed by those whose lives he was a part of.

David is survived by his son, David Dale Hugendubler Jr. and wife, Sheila of Chalfont, PA, daughter, Carrie Lynn Hugendubler of Telford, PA; his sister, Betty Jean Frederickson, and husband, Bob of Mountain Home, ID; his four granddaughters, Katie Kessling and husband, Mitch, Kelly Hugendubler, Morgan Hugendubler, Kelsey Hugendubler and his two grandsons, Cameron Hugendubler, and wife Sam, and Kevin Hugendubler; his great-grandson, Forrest Hugendubler; and his cousin, Ruth Fisher. In addition to his wife and parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Shawn Dale Hugendubler.

A private gathering will be held at the convenience of the family at a future date. Burial will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park at a future date.
