Ronald L. Blatt, 66, died Saturday, December 19, 2015, at his residence. He was the husband of Gloria J. (Tracey) Blatt, who died April 9, 2014. Born in Host, Pa. on January 26, 1949, he was the son of the late Paul U. and Mabel (Bashore) Blatt. Ronald attended the Milton Hershey School, and was employed as a dock worker at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, from where he retired. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles fan. Ronald is survived by a daughter, Ronda L., wife of Robert T. Burke, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sons, Ronald L. Blatt, Jr., of Lebanon, Ray L. Blatt, of Shillington, Ricky L. Blatt, of Hummelstown; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Blatt, of Lebanon, Linda, wife of Barry Fenstermaker, of Womelsdorf; brothers, Charles, husband of Eleanor Blatt, of Mt. Aetna, Harold, husband of Linda Blatt, of Myerstown, Ray Blatt, of Jonestown, and Gerald, husband of Jo-Ann Blatt, of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela L. Blatt on April 28, 2014; and a sister, Barbara Warren. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
