William S. Peterson
William S. Peterson, 63, of Hummelstown passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. William was born February 11, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA; graduated from the Milton Hershey School, class of “66”, and retired as a carpenter from Phil’s Remodeling. He was Protestant by faith; an Army veteran of the Viet Nam War; a member of the Hershey American Legion; and the Hershey Italian Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Ruth M. (Gordon) Peterson; sons, Scott and Shawn Peterson of Hummelstown; grandson, Shane Peterson; three sisters; one brother and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Route #422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m., until service time. Interment with full military honors will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
