William was born on May 19, 1929 and passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008. William was a resident of Blairsville, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing.

He graduated in 1947 from the Milton Hershey School. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, with Rev. John McMannus officiating Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.

Military services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and the American Legion Post #0407. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 135 East Burrell St., Blairsville, PA 15717.
