Thomas P. Konicki On the morning of November 13, 2007, Thomas P. Konicki, 60, of Newberry Twp., Etters, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
He recently retired from Quality Assurance for The Patriot-News after 38 years of service; was a graduate of the Milton Hershey School; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; an avid bowler competing in various leagues throughout the east and west shores; enjoyed fishing, tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
Born October 9, 1947, in Pittston, he was the son of the late Peter and Anna (Serratore) Konicki. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Clapps.
Surviving are his wife, Christine A. (Peterson) Konicki; two daughters and their husbands, LeAnn K. and Jim C. Shiffler of Hummelstown, and Stephanie L. and Randy L. McCauslin of Dillsburg; a brother and his wife, Anthony “Junior” and Adrienne “Cookie” Clapps of Exeter; six grandchildren, Rachelle, Jordan, Zachary, Briana, J. T., and Kassidy; father-in-law, Donald H. Peterson of Mechanicsburg; a brother-in-law and his wife, Michael and Donna Peterson of Camp Hill; two sisters-in-law, Sue Rupp and husband, Jeff of Camp Hill and Donna Peterson of Mechanicsburg; many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday in St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, with the Rev. James E. Lease as celebrant. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 12-1:30 p.m., on Friday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
