Services were heId in West Covina,Calif., for Richard B. Faranow of West Covina, Calif., and formerly of Lebanon, who died Friday Oct. 19, 1984, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Long Beach, Calif. Born in Lebanon, he was a son of Miriam B. Faranow, Lebanon, and the late Bris Faranow. He was a graduate of Milton Hershey School and was employed by the city of West Covina. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific theater. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife., Ann Rosales Faranow; children: Richard Faranow, Ronald Faranow, Linda Boyd, Shirley Gonzales and Marie Delgadello, six grandchildren & a great-grandchild, all of California; brother, James Faranow, Reading; & sister, Doris Dissinger, Lebanon. Burial in an un-named cemetery in Los Angeles, Ca.
