Nicholas G. Resanovich
Nicholas George Resanovich, 79, of Lititz, formerly of Lebanon, entered into rest on Sunday morning, May 1, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the husband of Irma (Chapa) Palmer Resanovich. They had celebrated twenty-five years of marriage last August. Nicholas was a retired supervisor from Warner-Lambert, Lititz.
Born August 31, 1936 in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Milan and Mildred (Sudor) Resanovich and had attended Holy Resurrection of Christ Serbian Orthodox Church, Lebanon.
Nicholas was a graduate of the Milton S. Hershey School for Boys and then attended Stevens Trade School, Lancaster Also surviving are two children; Nicholas G. Resanovich married to Theresa, of Jonestown and Sandra A. Resanovich Smith, of Carlisle; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two step-children; Ronald Palmer and Diana married to John Diemer; all of Lancaster; two step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchildren and one brother; John Resanovich, of Lebanon.
He was also preceded in death by a step-son; Tyrone R. Palmer (2008) and siblings.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral to be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home “Sullivan Home”, 121 South Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 (on-site parking with attendants) on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11AM. Friends may call at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home-Lancaster on Thursday morning between 10-11AM. Interment will be in the St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA.
