Larry E. Leach, 67, of Middletown entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Harrisburg. He was born October 20, 1948 and was the loving son of the late Rosella Bechtel. Larry enjoyed many things such as horseback riding, fishing, watching National Geographic and Horror movies and talking about guns. His favorite sports teams were the Green Bay Packers and the Boston Celtics. In addition to his mother Larry is preceded in death by his Brother James Bechtel; sister Pat and his fur baby Friskie. Larry is survived by his companion of 28 years, Debra Kreiser whom referred to him as “My Honey”; daughter, Dana Kreiser; son, Shawn Kreiser; daughters, Sarah Long and Renee Kreiser; granddaughters, Jade and Serenity Kreiser; nieces, Wendy Gibble, Christina Egolf; brother Robert Scheetz and sister-in-law, Kathy Bechtel all of Middletown. A tribute to Larry’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 East Main St. Middletown, PA 17057. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 until the hour of service at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Larry’s name to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
