Joseph E. Long
Joseph E. Long, 48, of West Chester, entered into eternal life on Friday, May 6, 2011. Mr. Long was born January 20, 1963, in Delaware County, where he attended Saint Cyril of Alexandria elementary school. He was a graduate of the Milton Hershey School in Hershey. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry J. and Agnes M. Long, and his brother Vincent J. Long. Mr. Long enjoyed good music, good friends and all the simple pleasures of life. Survivors include his wife, Aimee; a daughter, Abby; a son, Jacob; a sister, Clare (Dolly) Sherlock of Hatfield; three brothers, Harry Long of Broomall, John Long of Glenolden, James Long of Drexel Hill; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 233 West Gay Street, West Chester. Burial will be in the Goshen Friends Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Neighborhood Hospice, 400 East Marshall Street, West Chester, PA 19380.
