John P. Carroll
CARROLL John P. “Jay” Carroll, 54 of Fairfield, the eldest son of the late Jack and Patty Carroll, joined their side for eternity on Tuesday, September 22, 2009.
Born October 8, 1954, Jay was passionate about sailing, motor-cycling, scuba diving, flying his airplane, attending concerts with friends, music and reading.
He worked for ASML (Perkin Elmer) for 30 years traveling the world as he said “fixing things.” Jay will be deeply missed by his loving brothers: Brian, Jim, Shawn, Neil and sister-in-law, Tina.
He will miss the laughter of his nephews, Brandon, Jack and his niece, Jennifer.
He will also be remembered by his uncle and aunt, Vincent and Ann Cisero and family and Richard Carroll and family.
Special friends include Mike Thut, Nancy Thut, Janis Albrecht, Kim, Becky, Dave, Jimmy and John.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield.
