James E. Kerr, 83, of the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, died on January 1, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James and Rachel (McQuillan) Kerr. He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Kerr.

Mr. Kerr was a facilities engineer for the Heintz Corporation. In addition to his wife, Mr. Kerr is survived by three children: Nancy Moy of North Wales, Betty DeYager of Hull, IA, and James E. Kerr, Jr. of Hatboro. Also surviving are numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community’s Ellingsworth Auditorium on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplain Steve Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntington Valley.
