Harold L. Riegle
Harold L. Riegle, 87, Bay Village, Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Shillington, passed away July 10, 2008, at 9:30p.m. He was the widower of Ann T. (Terefenko) Riegle, who passed away Sept. 9, 2004. Born in Ringtown, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late William S. and Blanche (Frye) Riegle. He was employed as a sales engineer by Ring Screw Works, Detroit, for 23 years until retiring in October 1984. Riegle was a graduate of Milton Hershey High School and Junior College. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Surviving are a son, Dr. Harold L. Riegle Jr., Durango, Colo. Other survivors include two grandchildren, a great-grandson and a brother, Charles Riegle, Dalton, Ga. He was predeceased by a son, Frank P. Riegle, on Dec. 16, 1986. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, with the Rev. Victor A. Kroninger officiating. Burial will be in Hershey Cemetery, Hershey. Friends will be received Wednesday, 10 to 11 a.m., in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Precious Blood Convent, P.O. Box 97, Shillington, PA 19607.
