Gordon Gerhart, 86 of Franconia Twp., died Saturday June 30, 2012.

He was the husband of the late Caroline T. Gerhart. Born on May 6, 1926 in Telford he was a son of the late Robert N. and Bertha (Stull) Gerhart.

He was a graduate of the Milton Hershey School, and was inducted in to the MHS Spartan Hall of Fame in September of 2011.

He is survived by his children, Craig Gerhart and his wife Sumi of Sellersville, Donna-Lyn Gerhart of Allentown and Janine Wyllie of Reading, six grandchildren, Peter Kovalchick, Mishima Gerhart, Nathaniel Kovalchick, and Sweet Caroline Wood, Daniel Wyllie and Katorah Wyllie, six great grandchildren, Cole, Emma, Luke, Nathaniel, Graycee Kovalchick and Lorali Wood.

A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Tue. July 10, at Zion Mennonite Church, 149 Cherry Lane, Souderton, where the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
