Glenwood H. Krill
Surrounded by family, Glenwood Harold Krill, 91, of New Cumberland, PA, peacefully transitioned on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018.
Born in Lebanon, PA on July 26, 1926 to Anna (Reifine) Krill and Rufus Landis Krill, he was a 1944 Graduate of Milton Hershey School, then served a tour of duty in the US Military, followed by graduation from Lebanon Valley College in 1953.
For many years, he was a Civilian Employee of the US Department of Defense, first at the former Olmstead Air Force Base in Middletown, PA, and later the Ships Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg, PA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Doris Jane (Soliday) Krill; and two sons, Todd Owen Krill of Harrisburg, PA, and Gary Steven Krill of New Cumberland, PA.
He was preceded in death by three siblings, Marlin Pershing Krill and Norida Jean (Krill) Boxshus, both of Worcester, MA, and Betty Ann (Krill) Brubaker and a half-sister, Harriet Bechtel, both of Lebanon, PA.
A private Celebration of Life at Parthemore Funeral Home in New Cumberland will be followed by interment at Rolling Green Memorial Park in Camp Hill, PA. Published on Pennlive.com and in The Patriot-News on May 15, 2018
