Edward C. Hartman, 55 years, of Columbia passed away at his home on February 21, 2009. He was born on September 18, 1953 in Mt. Joy, PA. He was the son of Mary F. Hartman of Millersville, PA and the late Herman E. Hartman. He was baptized in the Episcopal Faith. Ed graduated from Milton Hershey High School.

Ed loved going to Bean Hill Camp and backpacking with his friends to Bowhen Run in the PA. Grand Canyon. He enjoyed his morning coffee at the Daily Grind Coffee Shop with the coffee group. He was a member of the Columbia Foresters and a social member of the Catholic War Veterans Post #1306. Ed and that laugh will be greatly missed by Deb and Joe and all his friends and family.

In addition to his mother surviving are 6 Sisters: Patricia Jakubowski of New Castle, DE; Jean, wife of Kenneth Scheaffer of Lawrenceville, GA; Eleanor, wife of Jay Kerger of Blue, AZ; Barbara, wife of Thomas Garbrick of Mt. Joy, PA; Joyce, wife of Christian Leese of York, PA and Kathleen, wife of Richard Stockton of Lancaster, PA; 2 Brothers: John, husband of Mary Hartman of Lynn, MA and David, husband of LoAnn Hartman of Snellsville, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
