David R. Price, Sr., 79, of Harrisburg, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital.

He was born June 19, 1930 in Hamburg, PA, the son of the late Paul and Minnie (Smith) Price.

David was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Penbrook. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Joan J. (Smith) Price; 2 sons, David R. Price, Jr. of Carlisle and Timothy P. Price of Lancaster; a daughter, Constance J. Rupert of Springfield, MO; 2 brothers, Leroy Price of Hamburg and William Price of Hershey; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2730 Booser Ave., Penbrook, PA. The Rev. Pamela J. Carnes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 61798, Harrisburg, PA 17106-1798. Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., Colonial Park will be handling the arrangements.
