David Edward Jeffries, Jr., 49, of Chambersburg passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

David was born November 2, 1966 in Blain to the late David E. Jeffries, Sr. and Linda L. (Sweger) Jeffries Miley of Orrstown.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Miles & Dorothy Jeffries, Robert M. Sweger, Mabel R. (Jacobs) Sweger and his step father, Ed J. Miley.

He was retired from Manitiwoc (formerly Grove Manufacturing), Greencastle.

He was a member of the NRA and Loyal Order of Moose 842, Chambersburg.

In addition to his mother he is survived by her companion, Carl Devinney, a brother, Edward W. Jeffries and his wife Sandy Zeigler, a sister, Sylvania A. Neil and her companion Wesley Timmons.

A viewing will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc, 112 W. King Street, Shippensburg, Pa. 17257.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in the Nickel Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, Pa. 17047 with a viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Blain Cemetery
