Daniel C. Krynak Daniel C. Krynak, 59, Girardville, passed away peacefully Saturday night at his residence. Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late William and Josephine Simononis Krynak. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Girardville. Dan graduated from Milton Hershey School in 1973 and went on to receive is bachelor’s degree from Westminster Choir College and master’s degree from UCLA, recieving both in music education. An avid teacher of music, Dan worked as a choral music director until 1993 playing venues across the United States including Carnegie Hall, when he toured with famous composer, John Rutter. Dan then worked as the chief procurement officer for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for 18 years. Dan was preceded in death by a sister Ann Marie Krynak. He is survived by his sister, Mary Catherine Williams, Girardville, a nephew Chris Williams and girlfriend Jean Ann Parfitt, Girardville and long time friend Nancy Whipple, Girardville, who helped him through his final days.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 am on Friday in St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Girardville. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in the parish cemetery, Frackville. Friends may call at the church from 10:30 am until time of mass. Contributions can be made, in Dan’s name, to St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 260 N. Second St. Girardville, PA17935.
