Cortland B. Smith
Cortland B. Smith 87 of Harrisburg, died Monday, October 23, 2017 at Carolyn’s House, Hospice Residence. Mr. Smith was born in Glen Rock and was the son of the late Fred and Inez (Ludwig) Smith. He was retired from AMP, where he was a machinist. Mr. Smith was a Army combat veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Shellsville VFW. He was an active member of the Lutheran Church during his lifetime. He was a graduate of the Hershey Industrial School. His loving wife of 50 years, Beverly went to be with the Lord in 2005. Mr. Smith is survived by his sons, Aldo Smith and Ty Smith.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11 A.M. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, on Monday November 13 at 10:30 A.M. A procession will form at 10:15 A.M., behind the administration building at the cemetery.
