Clarence “Casey” F. Swartz, 93, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at Bethany Village. Clarence was born March 9, 1920 in Harrisburg to the late Clarence F. and Fannie (Hershey) Swartz. He was an Army Air Corp Veteran serving during World War II. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mechanicsburg and a retired employee of UGI. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Russell E. and Ronald A.Swartz; and sisters, Eleanor Moyer, Sarah Moyer and Ruth Swartz. Clarence is survived by his wife Ruth L.; three sons, Reeder E. (Stephanie) Swartz of Harrisburg, Mark G. (Kathleen) Swartz of Dauphin, and Daniel R. Swartz of Dillsburg; six grandchildren, Ashley J., Colby R., Lauren A, Corey A., Karissa K., and Brooke N. Swartz.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4681 East Trindle Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. A visitation will be held from 11 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will begin at 12pm with Pastor Ross Ritchey officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Clarence can be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, Pa. 17110.
