Charles “Chuck” Edward Schuler, 77, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 8, 2011.

He was the husband of Terry L. Schuler, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.

He was born June 10, 1934, to the late Goldie Elizabeth Heistand and Lewis Henry Schuler.

He worked in various warehouses including Shearer Industries and Fulton Marian Housher. Chuck served proudly in the United States Marine Corps .

He was a graduate of Milton Hershey High School. He loved watching westerns and game shows and more importantly being around family.

Chuck leaves to cherish his memory, son, Scott Edward Schuler and companion, Lisa Enders; daughter, Crystal Schuler, and four other children, Vicki Schuler Miller, Karen Schuler, Chuck Schuler, and Idamae Schuler Elliott, all of York; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Colleen Zeller of Dover; host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister, Glorianna Schuler; and brother, Kenneth Schuler.

Viewing will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011, at the Gladfelter Funeral Home Inc 822 E. Market St. York, from 3 to 5 p.m. Burial will be at a later date. The York County Veterans Honor Guard will provided full Military Rites at 4 p.m.
