Bernard Reed – April 10, 1930 – Nov. 29, 2015

Bernie passed peacefully 11/29/2015 at home with his daughter and her family. He is now with his wife Elsie and 3 other children, Bernie Jr., Christine and Danny watching over all of us from Heaven.

Bernie has left behind, his daughter, Julie Caruso & husband Michael in Edmond, OK. His 3 sisters, Betty Houpt, Chambersburg, PA, Edna Rosenburg, Elizabethtown, PA, and Mary Gontz, Shippensburg, PA. Daughter-in-law, Ginger Reed, Corcoran, CA. 5 grandchildren, Heather Caruso, Edmond, OK; Danny Reed, Jr., Ripon, CA; Adam Reed, Atwater, CA; Houston Vaca, Corcoran, CA; Mallory Reed, Corcoran, CA. 13 great grandchildren and many friends.

Bernie graduated from Milton Hershey’s Boys School in Hershey, PA. He also served 6 years in the Air force from 1949-1954. He was a manager for Wire Basket-Germains-Matthews Redwood for over 40 years retiring at age 72. He has had a full life of travel and also enjoyed camping and fishing. He enjoyed and loved all his family and the many friends he made through the years.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Winton Cemetery in Winton, CA. A memorial service to follow at the VFW post.
