Alexander J. “Alex” Gustaferri, 30, of Glenolden, on August 2, 2010. He was born August 24, 1979 in Darby the son of Nancy Ferris and the late Jules L. Gustaferri. Alex received his Associates Degree from Delaware Co. Community College and his Bachelors Degree from St. Joe’s. He also enjoyed sports trivia and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandfathers Jules Gustaferri and Anthony Gaspero. In addition to his mother he is survived by his stepfather James Ferris; stepsister Christine McDougall; grandmothers Rosemarie Gustaferri and Anna Gaspero; his companion Terry Donia; his aunt Nancy Burnett and his cousins Teresa Carey, Nicolas Burnett, Richard Burnett and Julie Burnett.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Saturday from 10am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11am in the Church of St. Joseph, Bartram and Woodlawn Ave., Collingdale. Interment will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.

Alexander J. Gustaferri, 30, of Glenolden, died Aug. 2 at home. Born in Darby, Mr. Gustaferri earned an associate’s degree from Delaware County Community College and a bachelor’s degree in finance/marketing from St. Joseph University. He also attended Berean Institute in Philadelphia.

Mr. Gustaferri was a former manager of Wal-Mart. He was an avid sports fan and sports trivia fanatic who enjoyed people. Mr. Gustaferri was the son of the late Jules L. Gustaferri. He was the grandson of the late Jules A. Gustaferri and Anthony Gaspero.

Survivors: Mother and stepfather, Nancy and James Ferris; longtime companion, Terry Donia; stepsister, Christine McDougall, paternal grandmother, Rosemarie Gustaferri; maternal grandmother, Anna Gaspero.

Mass: 11 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph Church, Bartram and Woodlawn avenues, Collingdale. Visitation:10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple.
