Carl W. Beck ’56, of Painesville Township, Ohio, passed away on April 27, 2025.

Carl “Wayne” Beck, 86, of Painesville Twp., died April 27, 2025 at University Hospitals West Medical Center in Willoughby. He was born October 12, 1938 in Salem, Ohio.Wayne worked as a metallurgical engineer for Westinghouse in Pittsburgh, PA. His hobbies were gardening and metal working and he enjoyed talking with his family, and spending time with his beloved dog, Booger.Survivors include his wife, Nancy Arnold Beck; children, Vernon (Dawn) Beck, and Cindy (Robert) Sims; grandchildren, Brittany Sims and Janine Sims; sister, Betty Baughman; and his brothers, Gene Beck and Wade Beck.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jettlene Beck.In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Northeast Ohio SPCA, donate online at www.northeastohiospca.org.
