Leadership Giving Societies
Your MHSAA has created leadership societies for enthusiastic donors, such as yourself, who want to join us in our efforts to lead our Association as we strengthen our bond with the students of our alma mater. These leadership societies will provide much needed financial assistance towards your Association’s efforts of providing scholarships, partnerships, and mentoring opportunities to current students and recent graduates of our School. With a commitment to the well-being of Milton Hershey School, its students and alumni, our leadership societies will certainly add to our alma mater’s legacy. Special recognition shall be given to members of these leadership giving societies in various ways such as: displaying donor names, recognition at special alumni events, and other venues still to be considered.
Milt One Hundred
Gifts of $1,000 to $4,999 qualify donors for the Milt One Hundred. Milton Hershey has been quoted as having said, “The School was Kitty’s idea. If we had helped a hundred children it would have all been worthwhile.”
Gifts ranging from $5,000 to $9,999 are qualified for membership in the Heritage Circle. Our heritage stems from a founder whose dogged persistence and courage to pursue his dreams has shaped us all. It is in his example that we choose to lead and carry on his tradition of serving others.
The 1909 Society
Donors of $10,000 or more epitomize the philanthropic spirit of Milton Hershey and his wife Catherine. Our highest recognition level, the 1909 Society is named for the year in which the Hershey’s philanthropy was realized with the founding of the Hershey Industrial School.
